Set of 4 “Mole” lounge chairs designed by Sergio Rodrigues produced by OCA, Brazil 1960s. the Mole armchair contributed immensely to the projection of Brazilian design on the international stage. The 1957 design is both innovative and authentically Brazilian. A four-legged Garrincha circumventing “Teutonic” rationalism. With this concept, the Mole armchair, created in 1957, is still innovative today and is one of the most important works of the 20th century, responsible for projecting Brazil onto the world design scene. These chairs are made from Jacaranda wood upholstered with saddle leather straps with original cognac leather pillows. One chair has a slightly different color due to light because it was used in a different room.
