Set of 2 stools by Dom Hans van der Laan Bossche school 1960s (SOLD)

Stunning set of 2 stools originally designed by Dom Hans van der Laan. We were able to buy a full collection from a private collector. He bought the collection from the famous contractor Jan de Bonth Hulten in 1989. Jan de Bonth build the Sint-Johannes Geboortekerk together with Bossche School Architects Nico de Jong and Wim Hansen in 1954.

The stools are in original untouched condition. The chairs are made from pine wood and painted in a nice grey color. The colors are all carefully selected by Wim van Hoof and can be traced back in the books. Beautiful piece of Dutch design history.

Condition: Very good vintage condition.

Provenance: Comes with a full provenance report signed by the previous owner.

Archive Picture: Construction of the church in Nieuwkuijk, which was built in 1954. The architects were Nico van der Laan and Wim Hansen (Bossche School). The contractor was J.de Bonth van Hulten from Nieuwkuijk. The church was opened on June 20th, 1955 by Bishop Mgr. Mutsaerts.
