Designed in 1944 by Danish architect Philip Arctanders “Muslingestolen” or Clam chair was first produced by Nordisk Staal & Mobel Central, Denmark. This later version was produced under license by Vik & Blindheim, Norway, c1950s and is slightly larger than the Danish productions. Seat reupholstered in New Zealand brown sheepskin.
