Rare Uchiwa wall lamp by Ingo Maurer for M-Design, Germany 1970s (SOLD)

Stunning Uchiwa wall lamp designed by Ingo Maurer for M-Design, Germany 1970s. This lamp is made from bamboo and Japanese rice paper. On the back of the biggest leaf there is a metal construction which holds the 5 other leafs in place which creates a stunning sculptural effect. This lamp is very rare and highly collectable!

Condition: Overall good vintage condition. Has had some repairs on the rice paper as shown on the picture.
