Rare ‘Uchiwa’ Chandelier by Ingo Maurer, 1970s (SOLD)

Extremely rare, ‘Uchiwa’ fan chandelier / pendant lamp by Ingo Maurer for Design M, 1970s, Germany. The lamp consists of six fans hanging from a bamboo made frame. This lamp is handmade from bamboo, original linnen fabric and patinated Japanese rice paper.

100 H x 80 D cm.

Condition: The fans have had some repairs on the rice paper and some discoloration and patina. Hardly visible when put together.
