D4 Faltsessel by the German company Tecta produced in the 1980s, originally designed by Marcel Breuer in the 20’s.

A design classic of the tubular steel furniture. Here in the classic version with steel thread. The D4 is a very comfortable chair, just by the flexible steel thread fabric. I always call the D4 as the practical Wassily Chair, because it can be stored in a space-saving due to its folding mechanism. He looks even more elegant than the Wassily by its construction.
The chair is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. The bright material has accumulated a few significant impact over the decades. A cleaning attempt at Vitra service was almost unsuccessful.

This set is upholstered in a beautiful (original) eisengarn fabric which is patented by Tetcta. A light-reflecting, strong, waxed-cotton thread. Good used condition
