The Elda armchair was first designed by Italian industrial designer Joe Cesare Colombo in 1963. A modernist wingback chair with a womb-like plastic frame upholstered in thick leather pads. The Milan born designer produced a remarkably large array of innovative furniture, lighting and product designs in his short career, and the Elda chair has remained a timeless piece, still revered today as an iconic example 20th century design.
Condition: Good vintage condition. The armrests have been re-newed with similar leather 8 years ago. Some patina on the seating pillow.
