Desk by Jules Wabbes for Mobilier Universel 1960s

This desk is a well known design of the Belgian designer Jules Wabbes and can be dated in the early 1960s. It is manufactured by Mobilier Universel and marked on the inside of one drawer and on the handles.
This desk is very attractive with the drawer unit in light wood and the black lacquered metal base and handles.
The plywood top is finished with beige laminate.
The mat chromium plated runners are on the outside of the drawers and not integrated.

Condition: The top has some marks of usage as shown on the pictures.
