Daybed model S.C.A.L. Bed designed by Jean Prouvé from Cité Cansado, Mauritania, Africa. Circa 1958. Structure in black painted bent sheet steel. The daybed has been fully restored with a new mattress completely re-upholstered in boucle fabric. The headrest has been upholstered in cognac leather. Features an elm swivel shelf. Stunning design icon!

Condition: Fully restored! See last pictures for the original condition. We only waxed the metal frame (not repainted). It still shows lots of patina.
