Unique cabinet designed by architect Frits Spanjaard, The Netherlands 1933

Unique cabinet designed by architect Frits Spanjaard, The Netherlands 1933. Beautiful example of the Haagse School (The Hague School). Made from solid (staind) oak with linoleum inlay top. Beautiful proportions with some hints of the “De Stijl” period.

This cabinet was custom made for the “Rust-en Vacantiehuis St. De Born” based in Bennekom in the Netherlands. The exterieur of the building was designed by Architect P. Vorkink and the interior of this building was done by Frits Spanjaard. This was his very first big job as an (interior) architect.
