Anfibio sofa bed by Alessandro Becchi for Giovannetti Collezioni, Italy 1970s (SOLD)

This stunning convertible sofa bed was designed by Alessandro Becchi for Giovannetti Collezioni in 1971. The sofa can easily be transformed into a large double bed, featuring an inbuilt teddy fabric mattress when folded out. Anfibio is an icon of pop art design. It still has it’s original army green suede and teddy fabric.

Condition: Overall good vintage condition with marks of usage consistent with age.
